The First AIHPCcon showcases the high performance computing power of the new patron saint “Taiwania 2”

The First AIHPCcon (Taiwan AI Supercomputing Annual Conference) co-organized by Taiwan Web Service Corporation, Taiwan Mobile, and NVIDIA

AIHPC is a powerful tool for developing AI high performance computing. To share the latest AIHPC technologies, applications, and trends, TWS, Taiwan Mobile, and NVIDIA co-hosted the First AIHPCcon (Taiwan AI Supercomputing Annual Conference) to showcase the high-speed computing performance and technology of TWCC’s new patron saint, Taiwania 2 supercomputer. The event brought together the best of all industries, AI technology developers, and data scientists. We have invited Chairman Chih-kung Lee of the Cloud Computing & IoT Association in Taiwan and Vice Chairman Shi-chang Hsu of ASUSTek Computer as the opening guests. Moreover, General Manager Peter Wu of ASUS Cloud and Taiwan Web Service Corporation and Global Deputy Chairman and General Manager Li-meng Chiu of NVIDIA shared the latest technology trends of AIHPC, to assist companies in quickly grasping the AI digital development opportunities.

Vice Chairman Shi-chang Hsu of ASUSTek Computer indicated, “I look forward to TWS to maximize the benefits of AIHPC, making it an innovative upgrade for Taiwan’s industries”.

Vice Chairman Shi-chang Hsu of ASUSTek Computer said, “Equipped with a digital infrastructure of local operation and technology autonomy, TWS is deploying AI-driven Web 3.0 applications, including big data, blockchain, and the metaverse. TWS has a local operation, technology autonomous digital infrastructure, and the deployment of AI-driven Web 3.0 applications such as Big Data, Blockchain, and Metaverse. We expect Taiwan Web Service Corporation to become a foundry in the field of AI and to maximize the benefits of AIHPC, so that the AI development energy of industry and start-up partners can receive stronger resources and become an important driver of Taiwan’s industrial innovation and upgrading. ”

The team of TWS, established in 2021, provides the industry’s largest AIHPC high performance computing power and various cloud platform tools through Taiwania 2, which helps cross-node high performance computing for fast execution of large-scale applications, and can be connected with 5G, blockchain and other high-speed development, with the advantages of security, high performance, low barriers, and ESG energy saving and carbon reduction. The challenges that Taiwanese industries are facing today, such as the increasing demand for high-speed computing in system efficiency and development environment, and the continuous accumulation of huge data, can all be overcome by using AIHPC. The applications of AIHPC can accelerate the development of AI start-ups in various fields, and realize the process of AI industrialization and artificial intelligence in industries.

General Manager Peter Wu of ASUS Cloud and TWS shared the latest technology trends of AIHPC to help enterprises quickly grasp the AI digital development opportunities.

This year’s AIHPCcon offered “AIHPC Platform Tools”, “Hybrid Cloud and 5G Services”, and “Industry Use Case Sharing” sessions to plan extensive speech topics in technology areas, business opportunities, and applications. Dr. Wen-nang Tsan, a digital transformation guru, was invited to be the moderator of the forum to discuss the new wave of business opportunities in AIHPC supercomputing applications with industry/university and institute representatives, and share the multifaceted connectivity and integration of forward-looking technologies. AIHPC architecture can help the industry’s AI introduction and business development. AIHPC service is just the starting point, and it can be combined with technology trends for diversified applications in areas of 5G, blockchain, and metaverse development to bring more innovative energy to the industries.
